Belarus joined UNESCO in 1954.
In Octomber 1988, Belarus joined the Convenction on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritaje adopted in 1972.
Today 4 Belarus sites have been already included into UNESCO World Heritaje Lists.
In 1992, the Belovezhkaya Pushcha.
In 2000, Mir Castle Complex.
In 2005 two more sites were inscribed into the UNESCO. Arhitectural, Rezidential and Cultural Complex of the Radziwills in Nesvish and the Struve Geodetic Arc.
