Hello friends , do you know a story when a God asked a man to sacrifice his son for him to test his faith in him?

2000 Years before people started to count years, in ancient place called Sumer , lived a man called Ibrahim(Abraham).
He had faith in one God, unlike other people of his time.  Ibrahim couldnt have Children with his wife and he prayed to God many times for that. When he got old his wife got pregnant and gives birth to child called Izak. Ibrahim was very happy and send Many gratefull prayers to his God.
But God wanted to put his faith to test. He ordered Ibrahim to sacrifice his son to him.
Ibrahim was devastated. Wanting something whole life and now he need to kill it with his own hands.
Next day decision has to be made.
He took knife and as he was going with his task God sent him Aries to replace his son.
Ibrahim was overflowed with happines.

From that day , every year muslims sacrifice sheeps or cattle in groups and they give away meat to neigbourghs ,familly and Poor people. Children are very happy Because they took part in sharing small pieces of meat to neigbourghs and in return they got some money or sweets.

For me as muslim this Holiday teach us to share our Food to others, rebound with our familly and friends.
Everybody goes from house to house and give meat away and they open their doors to receive meats from others and give sweets to Children and giving them a huge smile.

I want to give huge Credit to admin for acknowledging this thing for us.
Lets spread this good things.
We dont need events or smth big, this little acknowledgment and appreciation for ALL other religions, this can make us better people. This is good side of religion.
Happy Eid al Adha.

Also, in my hometown, there is a beautiful tradition called lüplüp. Children meet each other, they ring houses bells and yell lüplüp in the eid eve. When owner of house heard that, he or she bring some candies or pennies to give them and everyone tells good wishes, even they do not know each other.
Happy Holliday to all who celebrate.
